UNIT 17
Making... A Difference 2022
The revitalisation of the modern office park by reactivating existing internal and external areas of an office park.

The goal of this project is to use the idea of a post-pandemic office worker that now requires greater space due to the idea of social distancing. This idea of less workers in the same amount of space means more space is required for work while more space is now necessary for movement and circulation.

My project centres around this inspiration to create pocketed spaces with varying programs while catering for the now open space and relocating that space to outdoor offices that are centralised within the landscape of the office park. The project outcome will be modular programs within the office landscape and buildings that will allow for the same amount of workspace area as previously required. This concept will also deter possible tenants who simply require small spaces rather than the vast lettable areas offered by commercial office parks. The smaller multi-tenant workspace will allow further collaboration and interaction to workers previously starved of social interaction.
